Props For Our Film

• Torch
• Knife
• Fake blood
• Scarf

In our film we are using various range of props including, touch to search for the daughter in the dusk as this will make it scary as going into the woods in the dark , a knife for the antagonist to kill the daughter and make it more intense and dramatic, fake blood to make the killing look realistic, scarf for the mother and friend to find in the woods with blood on it. Having props in our film make our film look more realistic and having the extra props makes the film more effective and real towards the audience.

In horror films there use of props are similar with swords, knifes, Skelton skulls which shows a weary atmosphere, torches, scary statuses and blood. All these props make a horror film more effective and realistic and makes the atmosphere intense and dramatic and makes the audience wonder what's going to happen next. The audience expect these kind of props as it makes the location and setting and character more scary and if they hadn't of had these props in a horror film a horror film won't be scary and it will be dull and boring so having these props are a key influence in the films.
