Our Film- Initial Ideas

Initial Ideas 

For our film we have decided to do horror, as it is quite a fun genre to film and you can include loads of different conventions to make the film look realistic such as blood, gruesome objects, vampires, zombies. Some of the locations that people normally use is either the woods, basement or someones house this makes it more scary as not many people will be in the location so it will be more scary.

Location 
For our location we were thinking of filming in the woods because its quite a scary place to be as you are alone in the middle of nowhere so we were thinking of a character to be walking in the woods and someone sneaking up on them that they don't know. I think filming in the woods will be good as you have all the free space to film and you won't get distracted and it gets scary when it starts to gets dark so when we film it will be scary with all the wildlife noises and the rustling of the leaves.

In our film there is going to be a Girl who is walking home from collage and the way she has to go home is through the woods. She gets a phone call from her Mum and tells her that she is 10 minutes away. However lurking in the distance is a man who is in a black hoodie. who is the antagonist which kidnaps the girl and puts a knife up against her throat. A couple of hours later her mum keeps trying to ring her when she said she would be home in 10 minutes then she rings her friend about her worry's and her friend come over to help find her. they then enter the woods and finds her scarf and phone with blood on it.
