In the opening indicates that the film is about dance and gives the opportunity to give credits to the director and production team and name the few characters playing in the romantic film e.g Jennifer Grey, Patrick Swayze. In the opening scene the location is set in a hall with loads of people dancing with there partners. The characters in the opening scene are just a bunch of people dancing with each other with shows the audience everyone loves to dance when you get into the music it just feels natural. The audience might feel during the film that it is a bit passionate and it might be uncomfortable for some viewers that the only negative about it.
