Target audience
For our film our target audience research will be a 15+ film this is because we are doing horror and we want to include things that only 15 are suitable to watch. As it is a horror we are included conventions such as knife, blood an antagonist and in the woods, so the audience will have to understand that it will include some things that under fifteens can't watch.

For many horrors the target audience is normally an 18 with blood gore, evil antagonist, scary and dramatic non-diegtic sound and scary monsters and not suitable for people under 18.

In this pie graph it shows the different age groups that mainly watch a horror film. As we can see people over 50+ are least likely to watch a horror film as they are at 10%, this is because older generation are not interested really in that sort of genre. The highest age group is 19-24 year old they are the most likely age group to watch a horror film and to enjoy it as it is is more thrilling for that sort of age group with 37% of people liking horror films and in the middle 15- 18 years old, 25-34 years old and 35-49 years old are likely to watch horror films and still being suitable to watch them.
